Today’s Lube Tip: 2-Cycle Lubricants

Most of you on this post have already tried or are using the AMSOIL Saber Professional 2-cycle oil in your augers.

How do I get the Wholesale prices? A couple of different ways:
Become a preferred customer. For only $10.00 introductory membership fee become a preferred customer for 6 months (renews for $20.00 per year). Why are there so many different types of 2-cycle lubricants? You can thank our government and emissions requirements! Each performs best when used in the applications it is intended for.
AMSOIL has 5 different 2-cycle lubes. If you use the wrong one, don’t worry, in almost all cases it will still lubricate adequately. But to get the best performance use the correct one designed for your application.
For your ice auger and all other pre-mix air-cooled 2-cycle machines the best choice is AMSOIL Saber Professional. You can safely use this at the lean ratio of 100-1 in any of these machines. Product Code ATP.
For your outboard that uses pre-mix oil use the AMSOIL Saber Outboard – as lean as 100-1. Product Code ATO. (Second choice use HP Injector as a pre-mix oil at 50-1 mix ratio.)
For you oil-injection outboard use AMSOIL HP Injector. Product Code HPI.
For your power-valve engines (most snowmobiles, personal water-craft, etc) use AMSOIL Interceptor, Product Code AIT.
For High Performance, Racing, and Modified Engines use AMSOIL Dominator Racing Oil, Product Code TDR. (Most 2-stroke dirt bikes and ATVs prefer Dominator over Interceptor or Saber.)
